Ingredients

  • 3 c AP Flour (or 1-to-1 GF AP Flour)
  • 1 ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking powder
  • 1 ½ Tb Poppy seeds
  • 2 ½ c Granulated sugar
  • 1 â…› c Vegetable oil
  • 3 ea Eggs
  • 1 ½ c Milk
  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp Lemon extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. In a second bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, and extracts.
  4. Add milk to egg mixture. Whisk just until combined.
  5. Add wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix just until they are combined. Do not overmix or the bread will be tough.
  6. Pour into greased bread pan and bake until golden brown and an inserted knife or toothpick comes out clean.
