Hibiscus grapefruit paloma cocktail with a salted rim, deep ruby color, citrus slices, and ice, styled in natural light for a bright spring cocktail scene

Hibiscus Lavender Paloma

This is the kind of drink that feels like spring the second you take a sip. It’s vibrant, slightly tart, and just floral enough to feel interesting without going too far.

Using Hibiscus Lavender as the base gives this a deep ruby color and a layered flavor that plays really well with grapefruit and lime. The hibiscus brings that punchy tartness, while the lavender smooths everything out and keeps it balanced.

It’s refreshing, a little unexpected, and perfect for warmer days or an easy weekend cocktail.

What makes this special

  • Tea-based cocktail with bold natural color
  • Tart hibiscus balanced by soft lavender
  • Fresh citrus keeps it bright and crisp
  • Easy to make but feels elevated

Ingredients

  • 2 oz strong brewed and chilled Hibiscus Lavender
  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 to 1 ½ oz tequila
  • ½ oz simple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)

  • Dried hibiscus flower
  • Lime wheel

Instructions

1. Brew and chill the tea

Brew the Hibiscus Lavender tea strong and let it cool completely. Chill before using.

3. Mix the drink

In a shaker, combine chilled tea, grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila, and simple syrup if using.

Shake well until cold.

4. Assemble

Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

5. Finish and serve

Garnish with a grapefruit slice or lime wheel and serve immediately.
