Smoky Cowboy Chai Shaken Latte: Iced Chai with Campfire Spirit

There’s chai... and then there’s Cowboy Chai.

Our Smoky Mountains Cowboy Chai is earthy, spiced, and laced with just enough fire to make you feel like you're sipping it beside a crackling campfire under a sky full of stars. It’s not your average iced latte- it’s got grit, character, and a whole lot of swagger.

This shaken latte version is your new go-to when you want something bold and cooling with just the right kick.

 

You’ll Need:

  • 1 tbsp Smoky Mountains Cowboy Chai
  • 1 cup hot water
  • ½ cup oat milk (or any milk you love)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Ice

To Make:

1. Brew It Strong: Steep 1 tbsp of Smoky Mountains Cowboy Chai in 1 cup of hot water for 5–7 minutes. This makes a bold base that can stand up to milk and ice. Strain and let it cool.

2. Shake It Up: in a shaker or jar with a tight lid, add your cooled chai, ½ cup oat milk, 1 tsp maple syrup, and a generous handful of ice.

3. Shake Until Frothy: Shake like you mean it! You want it nice and frothy and cold.

4. Pour & Serve: Pour over fresh ice in your favorite glass. Top with a cinnamon sprinkle or a star anise pod if you’re feeling fancy.

 

Optional Vibes

Want it extra smoky? Add a drop of liquid smoke or a pinch of smoked salt.

Want it dirty? A shot of espresso plays real nice with this blend.

Want it adult? Bourbon or spiced rum turns this into a fireside cocktail.
