Some collaborations just make sense.
When I first met Dr. Mak, it was immediately obvious that we shared the same philosophy: make exceptional products with real ingredients, obsess over quality, and build something that makes people's everyday routines a little brighter.
At Full Moon Tea Company, that means loose leaf tea blended by hand with whole botanicals, never artificial flavors.
At Dr. Mak's Superfoods, it means organic overnight oats made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, plenty of protein and fiber, and a commitment to creating a breakfast that's as nourishing as it is delicious. Every blend is made in small batches right here in Western North Carolina with 100% organic ingredients and a focus on real food, not shortcuts.
It didn't take long before we started asking ourselves...
What if breakfast tasted like one of our favorite teas?
Meet Appalachian Fog

The result is Appalachian Fog Overnight Oats, our newest collaboration.
Inspired by one of Full Moon Tea Company's bestselling blends, Appalachian Goddess Gray, these overnight oats bring together creamy organic oats with the bright citrus notes of bergamot, delicate lavender, and a hint of orange. The result is a breakfast that's comforting, refreshing, and unlike anything we've tasted before.
If you've ever wished your favorite London Fog latte could become breakfast, this is about as close as it gets.
Why It Works
Tea and oats are a surprisingly perfect pair.
The floral lavender softens into the creamy oats, the bergamot adds a gentle citrus brightness, and the orange peel ties everything together. It's familiar enough to feel cozy, but unique enough to make breakfast feel a little more exciting.
It's also incredibly easy to prepare. Just add your favorite milk, let it chill overnight (or enjoy it hot as oatmeal), and breakfast is ready when you are.

Supporting Local
One of our favorite parts of this collaboration is that it's a celebration of Western North Carolina.
Both Full Moon Tea Company and Dr. Mak's Superfoods are small businesses built right here in the mountains. We believe incredible food can come from local makers who care deeply about quality, sustainability, and the people they're serving.
When you support collaborations like Appalachian Fog, you're supporting two local businesses that are passionate about crafting products we'd proudly serve on our own kitchen tables.
We can't wait for you to try it.
Whether you're already a tea lover, an overnight oats fan, or simply someone looking for a breakfast that feels a little more special, we think Appalachian Fog is going to become your new morning ritual.
Here's to slow mornings, real ingredients, and collaborations brewed right here in Western North Carolina.
